TV4-huset, Television broadcasting center in Gärdet, Stockholm, Sweden
TV4-huset is a broadcasting center located in Gärdet with red-painted exterior walls at Tegeluddsvägen 3-5, housing multiple television studios and office spaces. The facility contains extensive broadcasting equipment and production facilities for the company's media operations.
The structure was designed and built between 1962 and 1964 by architect Bo Möller as a Philips warehouse facility. After comprehensive renovations, TV4 took over the building in 1996 as its headquarters for broadcasting operations.
The building serves as the central production hub for TV4's news broadcasts that reach millions of Swedish viewers every day. This location shapes the country's media landscape through the work carried out within its walls.
The building sits near public transportation, making it easy to reach by bus or train. There is a 24-hour fitness center inside with gym equipment and exercise classes available for employees during work hours.
The building's renovation project received the ROT award in 1996, recognizing the successful transformation of an industrial warehouse into a modern broadcasting facility. This recognition highlighted the technical and design excellence of the restoration work.
