Description
Planjava is a limestone summit in the Kamnik-Savinja Alps reaching about 2400 meters elevation. Its north face drops sharply into the Logarska valley, while western and southeastern sides offer climbing routes of varying difficulty.
History
The peak was first documented ascended in 1793 by Franz Hohenwart with a local guide from the Kamniška Bistrica valley. This marked the start of climbing activity on this mountain.
