Sala Prakieo

Sala Prakieo is a multipurpose venue located within Chulalongkorn University that accommodates theatrical productions, conferences, exhibitions, and large gatherings. The venue was established in 1964 during Thailand's modernization period to provide cultural infrastructure on the expanding Chulalongkorn University campus. The project reflected the institution's commitment to strengthening its role as a center for the arts and humanities.

The hall regularly hosts Khon performances, a traditional Thai masked dance-drama that tells stories from the Ramakien epic through music and movement. These classical presentations allow visitors to encounter living aspects of Thai cultural expression.
