Karabağlar

Karabağlar is a district in south-central İzmir comprising numerous neighborhoods and serving a large population. It spans a significant area that blends residential zones, industrial areas, and agricultural land.

The district was separated from an adjacent administrative area in 2008 and gained its current status as an independent entity. This reorganization reshaped the administrative structure of the İzmir region.
