Salepçioğlu Mosque

The Salepçioğlu Mosque is a two-story structure with green marble and stone exterior walls that display both Ottoman and baroque architectural language. Inside, red, green, and brown hues color the spaces beneath the carved dome, and the building contains a former religious school on the lower floor and a prayer hall above.

The mosque was built in 1905 by patron Salepçizade Hoca Ahmed Efendi as a combination of current Ottoman and European design trends. This construction reflected broader changes in how urban religious buildings were designed during that era.
