Salepçioğlu Mosque

The Salepçioğlu Mosque features three smaller domes facing the entrance and a main dome covering a square worship area with geometric marble decorations.

Built in 1905 by benefactor Salepçizade Hoca Ahmed Efendi, the mosque combines Ottoman and baroque architectural elements in its construction and ornamentation.

The mosque maintains an active role in religious life while representing the architectural transition period between traditional Ottoman and European influences in early 1900s Turkey.

The structure operates on two levels, with the ground floor previously serving as a religious school and the upper floor dedicated to prayer services.

Green marble and stone walls distinguish this mosque's exterior, while red, green, and brown color schemes dominate the interior spaces beneath the carved dome.
