Şadırvanaltı Mosque, 17th-century Ottoman mosque in Kemeraltı, Turkey.

Şadırvanaltı Mosque is a stone and marble structure featuring a large central dome supported by an octagonal frame with numerous windows. Three smaller domes crown the narthex entrance, creating a distinctive roofline.

Construction began in 1636 under the patronage of Yusuf Cavuszade Ahmet Aga, establishing what became a major religious site in the area. The original complex also housed a two-story madrasah and quarters for the mosque's call-to-prayer leader.

The interior walls display hand-carved decorations from the 18th century that show traditional Ottoman craftsmanship. These ornamental details reflect how artisans of that period expressed their religious devotion through their work.

The mosque sits near the edge of İzmir's former inner port area and remains active with regular daily prayers. Visitors can enter outside of prayer times, but should be mindful of worshippers when services are underway.

The structure contains İzmir's oldest birdhouse, which was installed during repairs in the 18th century. This unexpected feature shows how practical care for living creatures was integrated into the building's maintenance.
