Konya Archaeological Museum

The Konya Archaeological Museum contains collections from different periods, including Neolithic, Bronze Age, Iron Age, Classical, Hellenistic, Roman, and Byzantine artifacts.

Established in 1901, the museum relocated multiple times before settling in its current building in 1962, initially starting in Karma Secondary School.

The museum exhibits 231 Greek inscriptions, with 91 originating from Konya, along with Latin inscriptions that demonstrate the regional linguistic diversity.

Multiple exhibition halls present artifacts chronologically, starting with the Pre-Historic Hall displaying Neolithic items and continuing through various historical periods.

The museum houses a marble sarcophagus from the third century AD featuring relief sculptures depicting the life of Hercules.
