St Mary's Collegiate Church, Haddington

St Mary's Collegiate Church is a large Gothic building in Haddington featuring pointed arches and stone vaults in medieval style. Inside, visitors find an ecumenical chapel space and a dedicated area for the Maitland family mausoleum positioned on the northern side.

Construction started in 1380 and continued through the 15th century, following the medieval architectural standards of Scotland. This extended building period allowed craftsmen to create one of the region's most substantial religious structures.

The church choir performs during morning services, presenting compositions ranging from traditional Scottish songs to contemporary religious music by different composers.
