Altab Ali Park, Urban park in Whitechapel, England.
The park features various trees, plants, walking paths, and seating areas across 0.48 hectares of green space in East London.
Originally named St Mary's Park, the site contained a 14th-century white church that was damaged during the 1940 Blitz and later demolished.
Named in 1998 after Altab Ali, the park includes a memorial arch with Bengali patterns and a Shaheed Minar monument honoring the Bengali Language Movement.
The park maintains a Green Flag Award status and connects to London through Aldgate East Underground station and multiple bus routes.
The central pathway displays an inscription from Bengali poet Rabindranath Tagore about offering shade to passing visitors.
