Meall Greigh, Mountain summit in Ben Lawers range, Scotland
The peak rises to an elevation of 1001 meters with grass-covered slopes leading to a broad ridge that connects to neighboring Meall Garbh.
The mountain became a designated Munro in 1891 when Sir Hugh Munro published his list of Scottish peaks above 3000 feet in height.
Local shepherds traditionally used the slopes of Meall Greigh for summer grazing, establishing patterns of land use that continue in modern times.
Hikers can access the mountain from the village of Lawers, where parking facilities are available near the hotel or in designated fields.
The northeast position of Meall Greigh in the Ben Lawers range offers unobstructed views across Loch Tay and the surrounding Highland landscape.
