Government House, Bermuda, Official residence on Langton Hill, Pembroke, Bermuda

The Government House spans over 33 acres of land and contains more than 30 rooms, including formal dining and drawing rooms with glass sun terraces.

Scottish architect William Hay designed this Renaissance Revival structure in 1892 to replace the previous Mount Langton residence that had been used since 1815.

The interior displays a collection of Bermudian artwork that rotates regularly, representing the artistic expressions of local creators through different periods.

The residence functions as both a ceremonial venue and administrative center, with 13 staff members supporting the Governor and Deputy Governor in their duties.

Three historical cannons stand at the front entrance, accompanied by Washingtonia filifera palms planted by Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip in 1975.
