Cultural Industries Quarter, Creative district in Sheffield, England.
The Cultural Industries Quarter forms a triangular area in Sheffield's center, bounded by Howard Street, Suffolk Road, and Saint Mary's Road.
The district evolved from an industrial zone within the Duke of Norfolk's Estate in the 18th century into a center for creative enterprises.
The Sheffield Doc/Fest, a major documentary film festival, takes place in and around the Cultural Industries Quarter each June.
The district contains numerous creative spaces, including the Showroom/Workstation, Red Tape Music Studios, and Sheffield Institute of Art Gallery.
Sheffield Hallam University's Students' Union occupies the former National Centre for Popular Music building within the quarter.
