Site Gallery

Site Gallery is an art museum in Sheffield's Cultural Industries Quarter featuring contemporary works in modernized spaces. The building features a distinctive Danish brick façade and offers exhibition spaces alongside a bookshop and visitor café.

The project began in 1978 as an independent photography gallery before evolving into its present form. A major renovation project in the 2010s tripled the public spaces and upgraded the building's infrastructure.

The gallery focuses on moving image, digital media, and performance art from emerging and established international artists. Exhibitions and artist residencies create a space where visitors can experience contemporary artistic experimentation.

The museum is located downtown and is open for visitors Tuesday through Sunday. The spaces are well accessible and there is a café available for refreshment during your visit.

The museum hosts the Jerwood Survey, a major biennial exhibition series showcasing emerging British artists. This series provides an important platform for a new generation of artists to present their work.
