Cribin Fawr, Mountain summit in Gwynedd, United Kingdom.
Cribin Fawr reaches an elevation of 659 meters and features a large open plateau of peat bog at the top of its formation.
The mountain became part of Snowdonia National Park during the designation of protected Welsh landscapes in the mid-twentieth century.
The mountain name combines Welsh words, with Cribin referring to a mountain ridge and Fawr meaning large or great in the Welsh language.
Visitors can access the summit through established hiking paths connecting to neighboring peaks Waun-oer and Cadair Idris throughout the year.
The summit serves as a geographic marker between the western and eastern sections of the Dyfi hills, with a prominence of 93 meters.
