Kingsway, Nightclub and casino in Southport, England.
Kingsway was a three-story Art Deco building with large portrait windows and hexagonal turrets standing on the Promenade. Each floor served a different purpose, with a bar, nightclub, and gaming facilities arranged vertically.
Built in 1931 at the south end of the Promenade, it became an important entertainment venue for Southport. The building stood for nearly 80 years before being lost to fire.
The building served as a gathering place where visitors came to enjoy live entertainment and gaming in a social setting. This type of venue reflected how people spent their evenings out during the 20th century.
The building no longer exists and cannot be visited today. Its original location along the Promenade can still be identified as a part of the town's history.
The venue attracted a wide range of musical talent that helped shape the entertainment landscape of the era. Its role as a performance space made it memorable for visitors who experienced live shows there.
