Maine Tower is a 41-story residential building in Canary Wharf that forms part of the Harbour Central complex between Lighterman's Road and Dockyard Lane. It contains a total of 297 apartments with modern facilities.
The project was proposed in 2014 and construction began in 2016, with completion reaching its finish in 2019. It was part of the broader renewal plans for the Docklands area and London's urban development.
The building shows how London's Docklands transformed from an industrial port into a modern residential neighborhood alongside financial institutions. It reflects the reshaping this area has undergone over recent decades.
The building sits less than 10 minutes walk from the Canary Wharf transport hub and offers good public transit connections. Visitors will find numerous shops, restaurants, and parks nearby for daily needs.
During the first sales phase in July 2015, all 200 available apartments sold out within five hours of launch. This demonstrated the enormous demand for modern housing in this neighborhood.
