Hudson, Industrial town in Middlesex County, Massachusetts, United States.

The Assabet River flows through Hudson, providing multiple access points for water activities and connecting different sections of the town.

Originally known as Feltonville, Hudson became a separate town in 1866, named after Congressman Charles Hudson who funded the public library.

The Portuguese community in Hudson maintains strong traditions through annual celebrations including the Holy Ghost and Our Lady of Fatima feasts.

Hudson Public Schools operates multiple educational facilities, offering students a choice between Hudson High School and Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School.

The town transformed from a shoe manufacturing center with factories operating until 1968 into a culinary destination with restaurants and breweries.
