Bluegrass Heritage Museum, Local history museum in Winchester, United States
The three-story Victorian building contains exhibits about central Kentucky history, including agricultural tools, military artifacts, and medical equipment from its past as a clinic.
Dr. Ishmael established his medical practice in this Romanesque Revival building in 1887, which later became the Guerrant Clinic and Hospital until the early 1970s.
The museum exhibits present Kentucky heritage through collections of Civil War uniforms, pioneer telephone equipment, agricultural implements, and traditional regional quilts.
The Bluegrass Heritage Museum maintains regular visiting hours from noon to 4 PM Monday through Saturday, with admission fees of 5 dollars for adults and 2 dollars for seniors.
The third floor preserves the original operating room from the Guerrant Clinic, displaying medical instruments and equipment from the early 20th century medical practice.
