The Caruthersville Bridge extends 7,102 feet across the Mississippi River with four traffic lanes and a width of 78 feet.

The bridge construction started in March 1969 and reached completion in December 1976, with Missouri Governor Kit Bond and Tennessee Governor Ray Blanton attending the opening ceremony.

This bridge carries Interstate 155 and U.S. Route 412 traffic, serving an average of 9,900 vehicles daily between Caruthersville, Missouri, and Dyersburg, Tennessee.
