Embrace, Modernist sculpture in Lynden Sculpture Garden, Milwaukee, US
Embrace, a metal sculpture created by Sorel Etrog in 1966, stands among 50 monumental artworks within the 40-acre Lynden Sculpture Garden.
The sculpture emerged during a period of artistic innovation when Margaret Bradley was actively building her collection of outdoor sculptures between 1962 and 1978.
The piece represents post-war sculptural developments, joining works by international artists such as Henry Moore and Barbara Hepworth in the garden collection.
Visitors can explore the sculpture along with other artworks daily from 10 AM to 5 PM, except Thursdays, through guided tours and educational programs.
The sculpture integrates with the garden's landscape design by Langford and Moreau, which includes rolling hills, 4000 trees, and a lake.
