Herman Uihlein House, Renaissance Revival mansion in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin.
The 13,717-square-foot residence features limestone walls, a hip roof, and interior details including eight types of marble throughout its nine bedrooms and eight bathrooms.
Built between 1917 and 1919 for Herman Uihlein, son of the Schlitz Brewing Company president, the mansion stands on the former grounds of Pabst Whitefish Bay Resort.
The mansion displays classical Beaux-Arts architecture with a grand central hall, featuring a staircase with wrought iron railings crafted by Milwaukee artisan Cyril Colnik.
The residence includes a modernized kitchen with butler's pantry, multiple formal entertaining rooms, and a media room that accommodates fifteen guests.
The three-acre property contains a garden pool with fountains and multiple terraces that provide direct views over Lake Michigan from its elevated position.
