Grant USA Tower, Unfinished skyscraper project in Newark, United States
Grant USA Tower is an unfinished skyscraper project in Newark, New Jersey. The planned structure was designed to reach 121 stories at approximately 1,750 feet tall with distinctive green glass covering the exterior.
Developer Harry Grant purchased Newark's central block in 1985 to build this ambitious tower project. The plans were never realized and the project was ultimately abandoned during its planning phase.
The tower design included an American bald eagle statue at its summit and gold letters spelling USA, reflecting strong national symbolism.
This site is difficult to access as it sits on private property in an urban area. Visitors should view the location from public streets and respect any barriers or restrictions around the site.
The project was planned to include a massive 21-story atrium positioned above the 121st floor. This feature would have created one of the highest indoor spaces ever built at that time.
