The Langham, Apartment building in Upper West Side, Manhattan, US.

The Langham is a 13-story apartment building at 135 Central Park West designed in the French Second Empire style. The facade displays ornate architectural details typical of this period, including elaborate stonework and cornice work.

Construction took place from 1905 to 1907 following the Clark family's sale of the property, the same family that owned The Dakota. The architects Clinton and Russell designed a modern residential complex for its time.

The building housed various famous residents from entertainment and business over the years. Their presence helped define the character and prestige of this address.

The building is located directly across from Central Park and is easily accessible by public transportation. The Upper West Side neighborhood offers shops, restaurants, and cultural institutions within walking distance.

When the building opened in 1907, each apartment featured an ice maker, a remarkable convenience for residential buildings of that era. This technological innovation reflected the high standard of comfort offered to its affluent residents.
