Idora Park, Amusement park in Youngstown, United States.
The park featured a 3,000-foot wooden roller coaster called Wild Cat that reached heights of 85 feet over the grounds.
The Youngstown Park and Falls Street Railway Company established Terminal Park in 1899, later renamed Idora Park, at the end of their trolley line.
The Idora Park Ballroom presented performances by notable musicians including John Philip Sousa, Cab Calloway, and Benny Goodman from 1910 to 1984.
Visitors accessed the park via a five-cent trolley ride from Youngstown Central Square, traveling approximately 3.5 miles to reach the entertainment grounds.
The park contained the only saltwater swimming pool in the United States, connected directly to an underground natural spring.
