The Covelli Centre is a multi-purpose arena in Youngstown that adjusts its capacity depending on the event type. The facility features different seating configurations for basketball, ice hockey, and concert performances.
Construction of the arena began in June 2004 with support from a HUD redevelopment grant and opened its doors on October 19, 2005. The facility quickly became a cultural hub for the city.
The venue is home to the Youngstown Phantoms hockey team and hosts various entertainment events throughout the year. Visitors experience a community gathered around local sports and cultural programs.
