The Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church sits at the intersection of Front and Allen Streets in the Northern Liberties neighborhood. Its most striking feature is a large dome topped with Venetian glass tiles embedded with real gold.
The church was established in 1869, more than two decades after religious tensions had affected the Northern Liberties area. It operated as an independent parish for over 140 years before being merged with another congregation in 2011.

The building is no longer open to the public following its closure in 2019. Visitors can view and appreciate the exterior architecture and distinctive dome from the surrounding streets.
