InfoCision Stadium – Summa Field is a college football stadium at the University of Akron with seven levels of press facilities integrated throughout. The structure houses concessions, restroom facilities, and dedicated spaces for academic departments within its design.
Construction started in January 2008 following the demolition of student housing buildings and officially opened in September 2009. It was built as a modern facility for the University of Akron's athletic programs.
The Roo Zoo section reflects the University of Akron's kangaroo mascot and shows how students connect with their school spirit. Fans gather here to celebrate their university identity during games and events.
The facility provides 21 heated restrooms and 10 concession areas spread across both sides with three public elevators for easy access. These amenities help visitors move comfortably through the stadium during games and events.
The press tower houses approximately 80,000 square feet of academic space for the Sport Science and Wellness Education Department. This arrangement blends athletic facilities with educational programs in one integrated structure.
