Pine Gully Park, Seabrook, Texas, Protected natural area in Seabrook, Texas, United States

Pine Gully Park is a nature preserve featuring woods and wetlands along Galveston Bay with a network of crushed granite trails for walking and exploring. The landscape includes shaded forest areas mixed with open marsh sections that support diverse plants and animals.

The park preserves remains of Karankawa Native American camp sites, connecting visitors to the indigenous people who lived along the Texas Gulf Coast long ago. These archaeological remnants tell the story of earlier inhabitants of this region.

The park draws people interested in birds and wildlife, who come to observe and record the different species that move through the area with the seasons. It serves as a gathering point for those who want to experience the natural side of the Texas coast.

The park opens daily from sunrise to sunset and features easy-to-walk trails on level ground with good signage throughout. Bring water and insect repellent, especially during warmer months when mosquitoes are more active.

The park contains restored salt marshes that serve as homes for alligators, herons, and other wetland creatures found throughout the region. These carefully managed wetlands support wildlife that depends on the shallow waters and grassy areas for survival.
