Boardwalk Bullet, Wooden roller coaster in Kemah Boardwalk, Texas
The Boardwalk Bullet is a wooden roller coaster at Kemah Boardwalk that features a 96-foot lift hill, a 92-foot drop, and travels a 3,236-foot track layout. Trains carry up to 24 riders and operate throughout the day for continuous passenger flow.
The ride opened in August 2007 at the newly developed boardwalk destination. Following hurricane damage in 2008, the park underwent reconstruction and the coaster returned to operation.
The Boardwalk Bullet represents one of only four wooden roller coasters in Texas and remains the sole wooden coaster in the Greater Houston region.
Riders must meet a minimum height requirement of 48 inches to board the coaster. The entrance is easily accessible from within the boardwalk area, and wait times vary depending on the time of day.
The track features 42 crossovers throughout its course, more than any other wooden coaster in the world. This intricate weaving of the track creates a visually complex ride that distinguishes it from other wooden coasters.
