Public School 108 is a three-story brick schoolhouse with Lake Superior sandstone trim and dormer windows in the attic level. Its facade follows Romanesque Revival principles, with a seven-bay central section connected to three-bay end pavilions through recessed wings.
Architect James W. Naughton designed this schoolhouse in 1895 during a period when Brooklyn needed more educational facilities to handle growing enrollment. It earned designation as a New York City Landmark in 1981 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
