The theater opened its doors in 1968, establishing itself as the first permanent Spanish language theater company in New York City.
The theater presents works from Spanish, Latin American, and Caribbean authors, offering English translations through individual subtitling devices.
The theater provides special rates for students and seniors, with performances scheduled throughout the week and enhanced seating for clear stage views.
Each season includes over 300 performances of 13 different productions, making it the largest Spanish language theater program in North America.
