United Charities Building

The United Charities Building is an early twentieth-century office structure with classical architectural details and a symmetrical stone facade. The windows are generously spaced and show the craftsmanship and attention to detail typical of its construction period.

R.H. Robertson designed this building during a period of rapid urban growth in New York City, blending contemporary classical style elements with practical modern needs.
