Lake Roland Park is a large nature reserve in the Jones Falls valley featuring a lake, wetlands, meadows, and forests that support different ecosystems. The grounds include walking trails, kayak launch areas, playgrounds, and a dog park spread across the natural landscape.
The protected area was founded in 1945 and preserves structures from the region's earlier water infrastructure. Two districts within it are listed on the national register of historic places.
