The property includes preserved outbuildings such as a log kitchen, smokehouse with half dovetail notching, and a former slave house converted into a milk house.
The interior contains a staircase with square balusters, Greek Revival fireplace mantles, and multiple contributing structures across the expansive grounds.
Sherwood Green acquired over 1,000 acres of land in the region as compensation for his work as a surveyor during the early 19th century.
