Strouse, Adler Company Corset Factory, Renaissance Revival industrial complex in New Haven, Connecticut, United States.

The factory complex spans 2.5 acres with interconnected brick buildings ranging from one to four stories, featuring Italianate and neo-Classical design elements.

Established in 1861 as J.H. Smith and Company, the facility became the nation's first corset manufacturer before Isaac Strouse purchased it and partnered with Max Adler.

The factory employed over 2,000 workers during peak production between 1910 and 1920, manufacturing up to three million corsets annually for the American market.

Located at 78-84 Olive Street, the former industrial building has been transformed into residential spaces while maintaining its architectural characteristics.

The factory's window openings display stone lintels and sills across the load-bearing masonry structure, which operated continuously until 1998.
