St. Theresa Church, Catholic church building in Trumbull, Connecticut, United States.
St. Theresa Church stands as a Roman Catholic church building constructed with granite and limestone materials, featuring traditional stained glass windows and a brick facade designed by architect J. Gerald Phelan.
Founded on October 4, 1934, by Bishop Maurice F. McAuliffe as Trumbull's first Catholic parish, the church replaced its original 1935 white frame structure with the current granite building consecrated in 1962.
The church serves over 3,100 families as the largest parish in Trumbull, hosting traditional music programs with a 35-member choir and operating a classical education school founded in 1955.
Located at 5301 Main Street near Merritt Parkway exit 48, the church offers weekend Masses on Saturday at 8:00 am and 4:30 pm, plus Sunday services at 7:30 am, 9:00 am, 10:30 am, and noon.
The church features the Our Lady of Fátima Chapel dedicated in 2017 for perpetual Eucharistic adoration, allowing continuous prayer throughout the week for parishioners and visitors.
