The William H. Pitt Center spans 141,000 square feet across three levels, featuring multiple basketball courts, training facilities, and modern broadcasting equipment.
Opening in August 1997, the athletic center required an investment of 13.8 million dollars and underwent substantial renovations during the summer of 2024.
This facility strengthens Sacred Heart University's athletic programs by hosting Division I competitions in basketball, volleyball, wrestling, and fencing throughout the year.
The center maintains a 2,062-seat capacity arena, complete with rehabilitation spaces, weight training areas, and dedicated locker rooms for various sports teams.
The complex incorporates an artificial turf field with an eight-lane outdoor track, six tennis courts, and grass fields connected by surrounding trails.
