The Whippoorwill Club

The Whippoorwill Club extends across 170 acres of land featuring a full-length golf course with Rye Grass greens and a slope rating of 142 points.

Donald Ross initiated the course design in 1925, with Charles Banks completing the final layout in 1928, incorporating strategic elements throughout the 6636-yard course.

The club maintains traditional golfing values through its dress code requirements and structured membership system, fostering a community of dedicated golf enthusiasts.

Members can access the driving range, putting green, golf cart rentals, and newly renovated clubhouse facilities at 150 Whippoorwill Road in Armonk, New York.

The course layout includes distinctive architectural elements from Charles Banks, who considered this project the pinnacle achievement of his design career.
