Vermont Marble Museum

The Vermont Marble Museum occupies a wing of the former Vermont Marble Company factory and displays geological samples and industrial machinery. The exhibits feature marble samples, geological displays, and an artificial cave system that shows visitors how stone was extracted and processed.

The Vermont Marble Company was founded in 1880 and supplied marble for major buildings including the United States Supreme Court. The company grew into one of the nation's leading marble suppliers and shaped the region's development for generations.
