Viridian Tower, Residential skyscraper in Nashville, United States
Viridian Tower is a residential building with 31 floors in downtown Nashville that houses apartments above ground-level shops and services. The structure rises 115 meters and mixes apartment living with convenient retail access in one building.
Construction started in late 2004 and was completed in 2006 under direction of the Novare Group and design by Smallwood, Reynolds, Stewart, Stewart & Associates. The completed building became part of downtown Nashville's residential growth during the early 2000s.
The Urban Land Institute recognized the architectural excellence of Viridian Tower by presenting it with the Project of the Year Award in 2007.
Entry to residential areas uses key card access, and four elevators serve all floors of the building. A grocery store operates on the ground floor, while a rooftop pool and other amenities are available to residents.
The tower stands as Nashville's thirteenth tallest structure, with Smallwood, Reynolds, Stewart, Stewart & Associates creating its architectural design.
