The Ware Town Hall features red brick construction with sandstone trim, incorporating a tall hip roof and a prominent tower on one side.
Constructed in 1885 by Hartwell and Richardson architects, the building replaced an earlier town hall from 1847 that was destroyed by fire in 1860.
The main floor contains an auditorium and theater space where residents gather for performances, meetings, and community discussions throughout the year.
Town administrative offices operate from the lower level of the building, providing municipal services to Ware residents during regular business hours.
The structure underwent two major expansions in 1904 and 1935, with local architect Thomas Madigan ensuring the additions matched the original Romanesque Revival style.
