Warren Hull, a Revolutionary War veteran, constructed this residence around 1810 after obtaining land from the Holland Land Company in Erie County.
The residence represents early American settlement patterns, as Hull moved westward from Connecticut to establish one of the first farms in Lancaster.
The Hull Family Home Association manages the property and conducts guided tours during spring, summer, and fall seasons through scheduled appointments.
This structure stands as the oldest stone house in western New York, differing from the typical wooden constructions of its era.
