Winston Tower extends 410 feet into the sky with 30 floors of office space and features a modernist design with clean lines and geometric elements.
The structure, completed in 1966, held the title of tallest building in North Carolina until 1971 when Charlotte's Jefferson First Union Tower exceeded its height.
The National Register of Historic Places lists this tower as a representation of mid-20th century architectural development and urban expansion in North Carolina.
The building contains 436,000 square feet of office space and received energy efficiency updates in 2003 with the installation of tinted windows.
In 2021, Truliant Federal Credit Union acquired the naming rights, marking a new chapter in the building's commercial identity.
