Built in 1987 as One Triad Park for 24 million dollars, the structure became BB&T Financial Center following the merger with Southern National Bank in 1995.
The Piedmont Club on the nineteenth floor spans 13,232 square feet, offering dining facilities and event spaces for its members and business gatherings.
The building contains 271,445 square feet of office space, making it the second tallest structure in Winston-Salem's business district.
Following BB&T's transformation into Truist Financial in 2019, most of the building remains vacant and faces potential government forfeiture due to legal complications.
