New Martinsville Bridge, Steel bridge across Ohio River between New Martinsville, West Virginia and Hannibal, Ohio.

The New Martinsville Bridge is a steel through truss structure crossing the Ohio River between West Virginia and Ohio with two traffic lanes. The design allows vehicles to move safely across while maintaining the structural integrity needed for regular river crossings.

Construction in 1961 marked a major advance in regional infrastructure development and connected two states across the Ohio River. The project reflected the postwar growth period in the area.

The bridge carries an additional name honoring service members from the Korean War. This designation reflects the memorial significance of the crossing for both communities.

The structure rises approximately 75 feet above the river, allowing boats and vessels to pass underneath without obstruction. Both sides of the crossing are accessible from each state.

The bridge connects New Martinsville in West Virginia with Hannibal in Ohio, creating a crucial link between two river communities. This connection enables daily traffic and economic activity between both sides.
