Ronald Reagan Minuteman Missile State Historic Site

The Ronald Reagan Minuteman Missile State Historic Site includes an underground command center and a missile silo displaying nuclear defense infrastructure.

Established in 2009, this former launch facility housed Minuteman missiles as part of the 321st Missile Wing, covering 6,500 square miles around Grand Forks Air Force Base.

The site demonstrates American military preparedness during the Cold War through preserved launch control equipment and educational programs about nuclear deterrence strategies.

Guided tours operate from Tuesday to Saturday, requiring advance reservations to access both the Oscar-Zero control facility and November-33 launch site.

Visitors can descend into the underground Launch Control Equipment Building to examine original missile control systems maintained in their operational configuration.
