Newtown High School, Public high school in Elmhurst, Queens, United States.

The building occupies an entire city block between 48th and 50th Avenues, featuring a tower topped by a cupola and turrets at latitude 40.7409 and longitude -73.8745.

The current school facility, designed by C. B. J. Snyder in Flemish Renaissance Revival style, was constructed between 1917 and 1921 with additional expansions in 1930 and 1958.

The school maintains a student population of 1,878 students who participate in robotics, photography clubs, and numerous athletic programs including wrestling, soccer, and basketball.

Newtown High School offers college courses and advanced placement classes in English Language, Biology, Spanish, and Calculus under the New York City Department of Education.

Among its graduates are civil rights activist Grace Lee Boggs, actor Carroll O'Connor, and cosmetics manufacturer Estée Lauder, who achieved recognition in their respective fields.
