Wolf Creek Bridge, Metal Pratt truss railway bridge in Rocky Gap, United States
The Wolf Creek Bridge spans 206 feet in length and 16 feet in width, featuring metal Pratt truss construction techniques from the Phoenix Bridge Company.
The New River, Holston and Western Railroad commissioned this bridge in 1912, which later transformed into a road bridge in 1946 and a pedestrian crossing in 1987.
The structure represents early 20th-century American railway engineering, earning recognition on both Virginia Landmarks Register and National Register of Historic Places.
Visitors access the bridge through Old SR 61, known as Wolf Creek Road, which now functions as part of a county recreational park.
The Phoenix Bridge Company of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania constructed this metal structure, which maintains its original engineering characteristics from 1912.
