Clear Creek Metro Park

Clear Creek Metro Park is a protected woodland area in Hocking Hills featuring rocky cliffs, deep ravines, and streams flowing through the landscape. Multiple hiking trails of varying difficulty wind through the terrain for visitors to explore.

The protected area was established in 1996 through land acquisitions from the Beck and Benua families, including grounds from a former camp. These purchases formed the foundation for the current park.

The park serves as a learning hub where visitors discover local ecosystems through guided programs and nature walks. These programs help people understand the natural world around them.

The park offers hiking options suitable for different fitness levels and preferences. Visitors should wear appropriate footwear and come prepared for changing weather conditions.
