Lands End

Lands End is a two-story brick residence with a steeply pitched gambrel roof in Georgian style, featuring three bays across its facade. The complex includes an additional rear wing with multiple stories that demonstrates the typical residential design of its period.

The house was built in 1798 at the end of the 18th century and displays the building methods of that era. It was later restored in the 1960s with its original elements preserved and adapted for continued use.

The building shows what people valued in its era, with classical details visitors can still see in the rooms today. The craftsmanship reveals what materials and techniques were available at that time.

The property sits southeast of Naxera along Route 614 and spreads across about 30 acres of land. Visitors should know that this is a privately owned historic property, so access may be limited to certain areas or times.
